When Randal J. Whipple was 7 years old he won a role in a TV series. Then, in 1965, he played a role in "My Mother the Car," starring Jerry VanDyke. After college he worked as a news anchor at the Financial News Network, then moved to Eugene, Oregon, where he was on the evening news at KVAL-TV until 2001 or later. After that he became a real estate broker.
